Anna 1908

We stayed at the Anna 1908 for almost two weeks. We had one of their apartment size units; our daughter and her children had the other one. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we will return in the future. The desk clerks are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The location is outstanding: a quiet neighborhood; close to a lot of shopping and restaurants; an easy walk to public transportation; and across the street from a wonderful playground. The accommodations were very good, with a nice round table that seated at least four people and was great for working. There was plenty of storage space. The kitchen was outfitted well, but we would have really appreciated having a microwave, even a very small one; there was not one. There was free wi-fi, but since it wasn’t password protected, we did not use it. Also, we didn’t use the television, because all programs were in German, and we neither speak nor understand German. The biggest drawback was the lighting which was horrible for a woman trying to put on makeup. So as not to end on a negative note, I will repeat that we plan to return.

The hotel location is fine (not central, but with good transport links). The building is charming with nice outside architecture.The room I stayed had high ceilings, which gave me a very spacious sensation (see photos added)! The cleanliness was very good. Breakfast is a must-include with delicious scrambled eggs, fresh juices, cold meat & cheese options, fruits and very nice and extra fresh breads. The filtered black coffee was a delicious surprise (I am used to the average coffee quality in hotels). The staff are star-quality, a special shout out to Jessica who made my friend’s birthday extra especial (helping me to come up with a little surprise and offered us a nice drink to toast)! We took a picture with her to keep as a memory. I would most definitely recommend Anna 1908 and would stay there again and again!

I've been there for a night but I think I can say I had a good experience, the location is not too far the the S/U-Bahn and the receptionist was nice to us too The room was nicely designed, clean and we even got one free bottle of water in the fridge, though if you're expecting a great view, this might not be it since it's not near from the main city centre and the building is not high, but this is definitely not the hotels fault but more of city planners fault. I would recommend it, if you ever need a hotel in Berlin, my overall experience is 4/5 stars.

I've stayed for 3 nights during a business trip and loved the place. The staff is very friendly and kind, especially Jessica. I arrived very late and they were very responsive by whatsapp in helping me to check in online. The breakfast was delicious. They went the extra mile and helped my friend with a surprise for my birthday. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend to everyone staying outside Berlin city center.
